In this game, the object is not necessarily to achieve the lowest rating with the round but to notice which player can avoid hard situations such as bunkers and problems. A player is charged some money every misstep, which must be paid to the other players to have dinner or buy buy golf clubs at the end of the round ishiner.

No Alibis Golf Game
This game can be used as an alternative to individual handicaps. Instead, players are allowed to replay a certain percentage of their shots with the golf clubs during a round based on their handicaps. With way of example, if using a 75 percent system, a 12-handicap may be acceptable to replay nine shots over the round. The player is only allowed to replay a particular shot 1 time and must accept the effect of the other shot ishiner.

Also while on the site if you have time go check out the movie section, they have nice clips about rear wheel installation and removing and changing a tire, too bad it's only for chain drive Bikes it would have been nice of Trek to have included the same clips for our Belt drive Bikes, in my opinion.  I think i might shoot a little movie myself when i have the time :-)

Hello thesternowl, well originally i was thinking of keeping both sprockets front and rear original, but i might reconsider since i've been talking with Pierre Phaneuf, another District owner living in my area.

He sent me links to Phil Woods products wich i only know from name and good reputation.  It is a high end bike parts company wich started to carry Gates carbon drive products and they have made the same kindda of mods i want to do.  Pierre also recommended a few bike shops that he feels would be up to the job wether by installing Shimano or Phil Woods hubs.

So i'm going to go  with my bike and let them recommend different set ups for me.  Getting a 60t front sprocket will certainly be on the table after i explain my riding needs no doubt.  Also about getting another wheel from Trek to do the mods on instead of relacing my original wheel now seems out of the question since Pierre gathered the info that this wheel is especially made for the district and here in Canada it would come out to around 450$, with the original rear hub.  getting the front wheel instead might be a little less expensive but me Pierre and his tech advisor aren't convinced front and rear such wheels are exactly the same.  So i certainly won't pat 50% of the whole bike's cost to get a wheel that i am going to dismantle as soon as i get it, i will most probably use my original wheel and invest the money i'll save in a very good set up such as a Phill Wood hub if it's affordable.  I'm affraid though it's going to be something ridiculously expensive like Rohloff.  I'll let you know as soon as i have a pricing.

Interesting information Sargent.  I had no idea that the wheels were so pricey...

I've been recently considering some component upgrades myself.  Mainly in the bottom braket and crankset...but I've also considered a larger front chain ring and/or a smaller rear cog.  But then I get to thinking about the hills here in Omaha and I second guess myself.

Hmmmm.

Hello again, last night i finally found the proper do it yourself instructions on Trek's site, it's difficult to navigate through the different subjects and find the belt drive related infos.  Until last night i could only find the owner's manual, but after a while i finally managed to find the link.  But unfortunatly we can only see the first page called DRIVE-BELT ADJUSTMENT WITH SLIDING DROPOUTS this page has  embedded links in the text called; TEST THE ALIGNMENT, TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS and TO TEST DRIVE-BELT TENSION.  But it seems to have an HTML problem because these links only remain opened for a second.  I managed to access the very helpful infos by copying the target link then somehow printing it with right clicks

Here's the starting link and like i said the important infos are in the tension and alignment links, try printing them if you can't i may be able to scan my documents and post it here from work because at home my scanner/printer doesn't take legal size paper.

Hope this helps guys :-)

Start here:  http://www.bike-manual.com/brands/trek/om/welcome/index.html

and then more precisely;

1-) Click on English open here (red book icon)
2-) Click on choose bicycle type
3-) Scroll down and click on Urban road bicycle
4-) Click on number 3 inspection, Adjustment and Lubrification
5-) Click on cranks ,pedals, chain. cassette
6-) Click on Belt drive (red book)
7-) Click on Adjustment with sliding drop outs

from there i could only read the linked info by printing good luck

Indeed Jinky as soon as i need to change the tires i'm putting these Vittoria 700x23 on, i've seen them, held them in my hand too.  The circle is made of kevlar so they are foldable like an inner tube and the colors are crazy.  The orange ones are almost a perfect match for our District :-)
