Finally some good news!
I know there have been a lot of people that have been pretty discouraged with all the delay’s in shipping the Trek District. I spoke with their brand manager last week and things sounded pretty positive. Official details are still coming (hopefully along with pictures of some of the first bikes to roll off the line) but it sounds like people will start to get their bikes in the next couple of months. I was #1 in line for the District at my local bike shop here in NYC. They just called me to tell me that mine arrived. I’m picking it up tomorrow! I probably will not be able to sleep tonight.

Yes! I can confirm this now after my maiden voyage on the Trek District. It’s official, this is the coolest bike in the world at the moment. Not only did it ride like a Rolls-Royce, but the crowd of people that gathered around the District was astonishing. Everyone wanted one! You heard it here first!

Trek store in San Diego just left a text message stating my District which I ordered back in Nov 08 has arrived! Thanks for all the pictures and reviews.
