Why?
Why would anyone have a whole blog dedicated to one bike? Why not? I first heard about the Trek District a couple of weeks ago, when I saw it on Coolmaterial.com. My first reaction was that it was one fine looking SS, especially for one that was a production bike. When I noticed that it had a belt drive, instead of a chain drive, my obsession started. Since then I have been scouring the internet looking for more information about it. While the information about it is still somewhat limited, one thing is apparent, there is a lot of buzz about the bike. That’s when I got the crazy idea to start a one bike blog. I figured there were others out there like me who were looking for more information, so I thought I would do my best to gather it all in one place. With that, TrekDistrict.com was born. Think of it as the unofficial fan site of the Trek District bike.

WHY? You dont need to explain yourself, this is the coolest bike available as far as I am concerned. I love it. I currently commute on a Kona paddywagon, until now I thought it could not be replaced. The District rules, I hope the belt drive takes off, combined with other drivetrain breakthroughs (Rohloff hub, hammerschmidt cranks) a bulletproof drivetrain could be attainable. Maybe I am jumping the gun,but still. Even if it doesnt I will be looking to get my District ASAP. Thanks for putting this sight together, and letting others share in the excitement of the district.

I found your site digging for information on the Trek SOHO. You might consider adding bits of info about shifty-belt brethren, improving the appeal of your site.

Yep a big thumbs up for the site would be nice to actually own one instead of just dreaming when will it arrive,Evens will need to put a nice goody bag together for all this waiting.Or maybe give me a free Gstar Badboy lol
